WHAT DO YOU THINK IS IMPORTANT?
Blackthorn Parish Council is currently working on the creation of a new Community Plan. To achieve this we need your help and participation!
Why is this necessary? Putting this plan in place is a requirement of Cherwell District Council. Also, in view of the terrible weather we experienced last year we want to minimise the impact of any similar events in the future for our residents.
To create our plan we would like you to complete a short questionnaire; this will help us to understand what support we need to put in place for those people who may at risk, particularly in difficult situations. To action this we need to identify residents who might need special help or who may be vulnerable both in times of emergency or on a day-to-day basis. All information received will be in strictest confidence.
If you have further comments and ideas, which are not covered on the form, you will be able to include these on the back of the form or on a separate sheet. The questionnaire will be issued soon and we ask that as many people as possible take the time to participate to ensure we have all of your views.

Nobody should have to live in fear of crime and there is a simple, safe and effective way you can help stop criminals ruining more lives by passing on information about crime anonymously to the Crimestoppers 24:7 hotline 0800 555 111 or at www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
Crimestoppers is a charity and not part of the police. When you call 0800 555 111:
• your call will not be traced and you won’t be asked for your name or address
• you will always remain completely anonymous, so there is no risk to you
• if your information leads to an arrest and charge you may qualify for a cash reward of up to £1,000 which will be paid out anonymously, so at no point will your identity be revealed.
Crimestoppers really does work. More than 2100 local criminals have been arrested and charged in Thames Valley over the past 13 years. That means that 1 in 10 of
the calls to Crimestoppers results in an arrest without one caller ever being identified.
